27 Days and Counting

We finally have the end in sight. I talked with my doctor this morning about when we thought we might deliver. It was handy that I was standing next to my calendar. He said we would plan on delivering on the 31st! He even told me I could pick what time I would like to have the c-section. He did remind me that no matter what time I pick, I won't be eating anything after midnight. :)
It feels so good to have a final date. It was beginning to feel like forever. We know still that the Lord could have a different day planned, but I know I can shoot for the 31st and Lord willing, make it until then.
This morning was spent on the heart monitor for almost two hours, another ultrasound and more blood work. Sound familiar? Babe got a 6/8 on her score...once again docked points for no fluid. Blood work came back looking good. In fact, some of my numbers were the lowest they have been since I have been here.
Something kind of funny, but when the phlebotomist (however you spell that) came in, she thought she was just checking my blood sugar, so all she did was poke my finger. Knowing the normal routine, I thought that was a little odd. It wasn't but a couple minutes later, and she was back to check the normal things. So, I guess now I know my blood sugars are good, too!
I know you are still praying against illness and infection; thank you. I have had some nurses this past week that have since had the stomach flu. Between that and influenza A, the Lord has protected me!
Counting down the days...

Yeah!!! A b-day to look forward to! So awesome! I am so excited to see how God is just constantly working through all of this! "Father, continue to keep Pam and this precious baby in the palm of Your hand. You are doing an amazing thing right now and we trust you with the results and the end of this journey. We look forward to seeing a beautiful, healthy baby girl in 27 days. God, You are so great!"

Love you, girly!

I know it has to help to have a date in mind...let's you know what you are working towards. :) I look forward to the day when Babe is here, and your long hospital stay will become a distant memory as you are surrounded by your sweet girls and hubby...
