Terrific Thursday

Thursday was our annual zoo day. Only this year we had Peg and Danny with us.

The girls wanted to ride the sky tram, so P and D took them on it. I think Danny was glad to get his feet on the ground again.

Instead of going to the sea lion show this year, we went 15 minutes after it finished. The sea lions were active, and the crowd was gone. Perfect! This was Maisie's favorite this year.

At the zoo today, they were featuring the tigers and celebrating their birthdays. They had some extra tiger displays set up around the zoo.

Time to pet and brush the goats - 2/3 of them really love this.

After the zoo we went home for a late lunch, rest time and later another great meal.

After dinner, dad, Peg and Danny went to his volleyball practice. Mom offered to watch the girls, so Brandon and I took off for a bit. Yep - a date! We went to the mall to make a couple of returns, and then we went to Kohl's. And it wouldn't have been complete without a drink from Starbucks. Even Brandon tried a drink - for free!
