The Saturday after the concert, I was ready to do absolutely nothing. Thankfully Brandon understood that, so we had a nice and low key day. However, after church on Sunday we took naps and then went down to the lake. We had no longer backed the truck up the boat when it started to downpour. The girls didn't mind; they enjoyed playing in the rain. I was thankful I had taken a book to read. :)
It was our first time to see the new garage finished,
so we had snacks in there while we waited for the rain to pass.
Sadie was covering her ears because she doesn't like thunder.
By that time, it was late enough that it didn't make much sense to go boating. We decided to let the girls play at the beach since we never do that. It was quiet there, and the girls had fun...except for when the beach ball went out too far and a boat picked it up. Ooops...
We played on Big Mable at the shore.
The girls had lots of fun, and then we went back to the cabin and ate dinner. Despite the change in plans, it turned out to be a pretty good afternoon.
