We are so thankful for cousins that get along, and we were able to travel all cozy, laugh a lot, and enjoy a few days together.
Everyone snug while enjoying "Dolphin Tale 2."
They enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool.
We spent a few hours walking around Garden of the Gods and enjoying God's creation. You can't go there and not take a lot of pictures.
We were able to see some deer up close. The girls wanted to pet them; the boys wanted to hunt them. :)
The crew
Maisie loves her little cousin, Danny.
The three oldest went on their own rock climbing adventure.
After our hikes, we went and ate lunch at CFA. Maisie and Sadie helped Aunt Sarena with the boys, the three big kids sat at their own table counting slug bugs, and the three other women enjoyed a nice peaceful lunch.
From there, Sarah and I took the kids to the Air Force Academy Chapel, or as Maisie liked to call it, "The airport church." This was our first time there, and we really enjoyed it.
Look what spiritual kids we have. :)
I think they are reading part of the few copies of the original Torah.
Sometimes they don't follow directions...
The men arrived to the Springs in the afternoon, and we all went over to Sarena's for a family meal of waffles, eggs and bacon. From there the adults and two older boys went to their church to see "The Thorn," an amazing presentation of a Passion play for Easter. Truly amazing. The kids enjoyed their night with their aunt and uncle.
Here is Sadie with Aunt Sarena, sporting the birthday outfit from her. :)
We had a great time with family in an amazingly beautiful state!
