We had a month of swimming lessons this summer. We chose to attend the early lessons, so we were there each day from 8-9. We had some cool mornings, but most mornings were warm enough the girls didn't mind. Sadie was the one that would shiver in the water; poor girl is just skin and bones.
Sadie did a little better in the water this year. She learned she can go under, but liked hanging on the wall most of the time.
Maisie went from barely staying afloat to becoming quite the fish this year. I am so proud of her! She learned to swim different strokes.
One of the big perks of going in the morning was that the girls had several friends in their groups, and I had friends to visit with, too. :)
Analise's favorite stroke is the back stroke.
Analise is still a great swimmer, and I am thankful.
When Sadie was finished, we would go to the other end of the pool to watch the other two jump in off the boards.
Analise went off the high dive a couple of times, but she didn't really like it.
On our last day, the kids were able to go down the slide, no matter the size. This was Maisie and Sadie's first trip down; they chose to go together. So sweet. Maisie learned she loved the slide and went down several times this summer when we were there with friends.
Maisie also went off the high dive. That girl is my adventurous one!
Here she goes....
And Sadie's big accomplishment was jumping off the side of the pool into the 3.5 foot water. What was so sweet again was seeing the other two encourage her and jumping in with her.
