Here are the highlights from Sadie's birthday awhile back...
After church on Sunday, Grandma and Grandpa took Sadie out for lunch. She chose Arby's.
And she specifically wanted this whale fin as her toy in her kid's meal.
Morning time with the Bear (that decided it doesn't want to sing anymore).
Our annual birthday picture together; hopefully she's the only one who looks like she's aging....
Dinner of choice was chicken fajitas.
She was able to Facetime with Grandmom while she opened gifts. Yeah technology!
Legos, Fila clothes, and doll apparel made her quite happy!
We got a cookie for the celebration tonight.
Sadie wanted a horse cake this year. I was very pleased with the results!
Time to celebrate with family
A cute outfit from Aunt Sarena; we love leggings because they stay up!
Bird food for Sadie to feed "her" birds.
Cowgirl boots so she can take some horse lessons! She was SUPER excited!
Aunt Sarah gave her a "Frozen" theme birthday gifts.
What sweet cousins she has.
Blow those seven candles, Sadie!
At the birthday dinner, Sadie got to answer some questions. Here they are with her answers:

If you could have any animal as a pet -

Name someone you trust-
Analise because she plays nice
When was the last time you said, "Uh-oh"?
When she spilled her milk the other night
If you could have any super hero power, what would it be?
She would make everything warm (I like this super power)
What is something you don't like to eat-

If it could rain anything from the sky, what would you want it to be?
Horses
Fave thing to do with mom -
Play games (uno)
What would you like to learn to do?

If you were stuck outside, what would you do?
Play with sisters
If you could go anywhere, where would you go?

After the questions, we went around the table sharing something we appreciate about Sadie and our hope/blessing for her in the coming year.
Maisie - likes playing with Sadie, and she hopes they get more toys to play with. :)
Grandpa likes how Sadie tries hard to keep up with her older sisters, and he asks that God bless the end of her 1st grade year and 2nd grade year.
Aaron likes how Sadie is always smiling and cheerful and hopes she has a good year.
Analise - Sadie makes her laugh when she laughs, and she's glad Sadie enjoys Ms. Vacek
Kaleb- Sadie never puts anyone down; she's caring and compassionate. He hopes Sadie enjoys 2nd grade next year.
Aunt Sarah - likes how other people think Sadie is so quiet, but she likes how Sadie talks a lot around her; she sees a different side. :) And she hopes Sadie gets to ride a horse this year.
Derek loves how Sadie always runs to give him a hug; he hopes Sadie has a fun summer with her family.
Dad loves how Sadie loves to help and serve, and he hopes they get to go fishing together this summer.
Mom also loves how Sadie helps, and she knows what to do and where things go. I hope she gets to go horseback riding this summer.
Braylen loves how happy Sadie is and how well she listens at Awana. He hopes she enjoys her summer and 2nd grade.
Grandma loves Sadie's big smile and how she loves to learn about birds. She hopes Sadie continues to grow in Jesus this year, and that she will swim more in the lake.
Sadie, you are special to everyone, and you will always hold a special place in our hearts because you had such a rough start at life. I am so glad God knew we needed you in our family. I pause at times, realizing how much you have grown and become a big girl. No more little preschooler or toddler. You are reading, saying things that make me chuckle, and I hold fast to these times - my baby growing up. I am so glad you've had another great year full of God's blessings, and I hope you are always a mama's girl. :)

Sadie's report that came home from school. I about died laughing when I saw her BMI was 0.
